Shipping Instructions Printer cartridges are fragile and need to be securely packaged when shipping through the mail, UPS, or LTL for recycling. Below are some helpful packaging guidlelines to observe that will prevent damage to your shipments and protect your investment of time, effort and collections. *Damaged cartridges have no value, please pack well. The minimum quantity for a single boxed shipment is 30 recycled units. (This can be any combination of cartridges and phones.) Reuse boxes. (We do not currently offer free shipping boxes. Free boxes are easy to find, if you have ever moved and needed boxes, you know that store managers from your neighborhood would be happy to give you some boxes for free. Just politley ask.) Keep inkjets and cell phones seperate from the laser cartridges. (This will prevent toner dust from damaging them. You may use the same box, but inkjets and phones must be in a sealed zip lock bag or sealed box inside your laser cartridge box.) Use packing material to secure the recycled cartridges and phones inside the box. (Use bubble wrap, foam peanuts, newspaper, plastic bags and other packing material to help the box keep its shape avoiding collapse during shipment.) Protect, secure and ship the cartridges. Inkjets - When shipping inkjets, the printhead and electronic strip are the most important to protect and the most likely to get damaged due to their delicate nature. Bubble wrap and layers of paper work great. Remember to secure the inkjets to avoid moving around inside the box. Lasers - The laser cartridges can easily break if not properly wrapped and secured in a manually cushioned box. Do your best to surround each cartridge with packing material so the cartridges do not touch each other or the box. Also, fill the box completely with packing material in order to keep the cartridges from hitting one another and damaging during shipment. Phones - Shipping phones is pretty simple, wrap in paper to protect the screen and body then secure them in a box. When combining phones with cartridges, please be sure to secure the phones from hitting the cartridges.
